SLB Q1 2019 Report Available
The Softwood Lumber Board (SLB) recently published its 2019 Q1 Quarterly Report, which recaps the SLB’s progress in increasing demand for softwood lumber products and defending and growing markets. The SLB’s programs met and exceeded targets across the board and, in doing so, delivered benefits to the entire softwood lumber industry. Third-party analysis shows that the SLB’s programs in the first quarter of 2019 created 380 million board feet of incremental softwood lumber demand, a 10% increase over the prior year, bringing the total generated to 5.2 billion board feet since 2012.
